The Cambrésis is well-known – and maybe not enough - for its delicious specialities as many other cities in North of France.
La Tome de Cambrai is one of the cheeses made with local cow milk but goat cheese is also famous. (Unavailable since November 2014 until further notice)
The Andouillette de Cambrai is fabricated onsite and La Confrerie de l’Andouillette is checking carefully its quality.
Do not leave without purchasing some “Bêtises”. Those candies are a mixture of mint and sugar. Two small factories – Afchain and Despinoy – do not agree about who is the real inventor of this famous sweet. The Bêtise de Cambrai is registered in the inventory of the French Culinary Patrimony.
