Location Information: Carnieres is a village about 8 kilometres east of Cambrai and the Cemetery is on the north eastern outskirts of the village on the west side of the road to Avesnes-les-Aubert.


Visiting Information: The location or design of this site make wheelchair access impossible. For further information regarding wheelchair access, contact the Commonwealth war Graves Commission, Enquiries department on 01628 634221.


Historical Information: Carnieres was captured on 10 October 1918, and the Communal Cemetery Extension was made by the Guards Division a week later. The extension contains 54 Commonwealth burials of the First World War.
