In the village of Fontaine Notre Dame, commemoration ceremonies for the British soldiers killed during the Battle of Cambrai will start on November 25th at 8:45 p.m. at the church (Gathering around 8:30 a.m.). From the church, participants will go to the Memorial (9:20 a.m.) and then, to the former train station to end, around 11 a.m., at Hartley Monument.
Fontaine Notre Dame band will play during the parade, along with some bagplayers and drummers from Somme Battlefield Pipe Band.
In the afternoon (around 3 p.m.), the exhibit will be officially opened.
From November 27th until December 3rd, a series of lectures - in french - are proposed to the public:
- On Thursday, November 30th at 7 p.m., by Maguy and Bernard Cuvillier: "War booknotes"
- On Friday, December 1st at 7 p.m., by Pierre Pavy, "In the skin of the tanker"
- On Saturday, December 2nd at 7 p.m., by Bruno Barrier, "The bikers of the WW1"
