Discovered 3 meters underground, the tank can be seen in a barn in Flesquières.
In Flesquières a tank has been preserved which took part in the fighting on 20th November 1917. Its discovery was the result of a long search by a man full of enthusiasm for the Battle of Cambrai. Identified as Deborah and belonging to D battalion, the tank was abandoned and buried after the war. It is a fine example of the Mark IV tanks, weighing almost 30 tonnes and with a crew of eight. The Battle of Cambrai demonstrated the effectiveness of these new war machines.
