Location Information:

Vendegies-sur-Ecaillon is a village approximately 12 kilometres south of Valenciennes and approximately 10 kilometres west of Le Quesnoy.

Vendegies Cross Roads British Cemetery is situated at the intersection of the Vendegies-Bermerain and Saulzoir-Villers Pol Roads. (D85 and D114)

The register is available in the Mairie on Monday ; Tuesday and Thursday from 9.00 to 12.00 and Wednesday from 14.00 to 17.00

 

 

Historical Information:

This Cemetery was made by the XVII Corps early in November 1918.

There are now nearly 580, 1914-18 war casualties commemorated in this site.

The Cemetery covers an area of 418 square metres and is enclosed by a brick wall on two sides.
